Rake Manager is a file organization and cleanup tool. This document explains what the app touches, what it doesn't, and where your data goes. Written in plain terms, no legal fluff.
Rake Manager helps you gather, sort, and clean up files on your Android device. Think of it as a rake for your storage — it pulls together scattered files, identifies duplicates and leftovers, and lets you decide what to keep. No accounts, no cloud, no nonsense.
This policy follows the Google Play Developer Policy and applicable privacy regulations.
No account required. The only personal information we ever receive is what you voluntarily send when contacting support — typically an email address and a description of your issue.

Our scanner works on metadata only — file name, size, type, and modification date. That's enough to find duplicates, residuals, and large files. The actual content of your files stays on your device and is deleted locally when you confirm.
Rake Manager requests All Files Access because a file manager must see beyond media collections to find residual folders, duplicates in user-created directories, and orphaned files in non-standard locations. Scoped storage alone doesn't reach these.
This permission is used only for on-device scanning and file operations. No file content is uploaded. Revoke it anytime via Settings → Apps → Rake Manager → Permissions. This complies with Google Play's All Files Access Permission policy.

Each operates under its own privacy policy. AdMob may use your Ad ID for ad personalization — opt out in Settings → Privacy → Ads. We do not share your file data or personal information with any third party for marketing.
Depending on your location, you may request access to, deletion of, or portability of your personal data, opt out of personalized ads, or file a complaint with your local authority. Since Rake Manager doesn't use accounts, uninstalling the app clears all local data. Email us for cloud or support-data deletion.

Rake Manager is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent). We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.
We may update this policy as the app or regulations change. Material updates will be noted in-app and by updating the date above. Continued use means you accept the revised terms.
